An important thing to consider when booking your pool opening
As you may know, we begin booking pool openings at the beginning of the year (and some people book when the close their pool, in order to guarantee their choice of date!). By the time we reach May, the month is usually fully booked – this year is no exception. Currently, our technicians are booked solid through May and into the first week of June. Please select service dates after June 8 (and as a reminder, our technicians work Monday – Friday). If your schedule is flexible, you have a credit card on file with us, and you have filled out a Service Authorization Form (SAF), let us know in notes and if we have cancelations we will try to move your service date up. The reason for the latter two is that you don’t have to be home when we come do the work. If you haven’t yet filled out an SAF, please do so on our website. For security purposes, call the store to get your CC number on file.
An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. Warm weather and sunshine feed algae, so it’s best to try to stay ahead of it, even if your pool isn’t open yet. If you have a mesh cover, no cover, or a solid cover that is thin or has holes, in order to keep algae at bay please treat your water with our di-chlor shock, Spot Kill, and Algae All 60 algaecide. We’d be happy to give you some hints on treating your pool now and over the winter, in order to keep algae away when your pool is closed.
